Job Summary

We are seeking Stormwater / Erosion Control Inspectors to conduct weekly or bi-weekly required inspections on active construction sites across the state of North Carolina in all counties. Pay is on a per-inspection basis negotiated per construction site. If you do not have the appropriate licensure, sponsorship opportunities exist for you to take the class and achieve licensure.

We are specifically seeking candidates in the following locations:

Buncombe County/City of Asheville Mecklenburg County/City of Charlotte Wake County/City of Raleigh/City of Cary New Hanover County/City of Wilmington Durham County/City of Durham Guilford County/City of Greensboro

Requirements

Licensure - Must hold one of the following certifications or licenses:

CMCSI - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Certified Site Inspector CESSWI - Certified Erosion, Sediment and StormWater Inspector CPSWQ - Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality CEPSCI - Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspector PE - Professional Engineer Other equivalent licensure authorizing inspections in North Carolina

Insurance - Must hold the following insurance:

General Liability Insurance Workers' Compensation Insurance

Duties

Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure Stormwater and Erosion Control compliance with provided Civil Engineering construction documents. Leave a physical copy of inspection in the on-site job box and provide a digital scan of the report for each inspection.
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 per day
