The Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) department in RIT's College of Engineering Technology (CET) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position. We are seeking dynamic and dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching and student success.
Teaching Responsibilities:Develop and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses and laboratories, with an emphasis on first- and second-year computer and electrical engineering.
Contribute to curriculum development to ensure programs remain aligned with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Demonstrate commitment to student engagement through activity-based pedagogy and experiential learning opportunities.
Participate in effective teaching workshops such as KEEN.
Service Responsibilities:Contribute to the department, college, and university through committee service and related activities.
Maintain a professional development agenda that supports departmental growth and reflects current advancements in computer and electrical engineering technology.

Required Minimum Qualifications
PhD or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, or related STEM field, or PhD in STEM Education with appropriate MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or related STEM field
Demonstrated knowledge and potential to be proficient in teaching at the college level
Previous industrial experience is highly desirable.
