Qualifications :


+ High School Diploma


+ Strong affinity for students; celebrating and accommodating the differences each student brings to the school.


+ Strong interpersonal skills in working with K-5 grade students.


+ Proficient knowledge in classroom policies and procedures.


+ Outstanding communication skills.


+ Excellent observation and analytical skills.


+ Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution with students.


+ Strong ability to supervise small groups of students during academic activities.


+ Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.







Responsibilities:



+ Support classroom instruction by working with small groups or individual students.


+ Assist in the preparation and organization of instructional materials and activities.


+ Supervise students during lessons, meals, transitions, and recreational activities.


+ Reinforce behavioral and academic expectations in alignment with school policies.


+ Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.


+ Provide feedback to the teacher regarding student progress and behavior.


+ Assist with set-up and clean-up of daily classroom activities.


+ Other duties as assigned by principal.

Compensation / Benefits:



RAVE Clerical Association - Wage Group V : $21.32 - $23.91 Hourly - According to contractual agreement (based on 2025-26 contract)
