Job Overview

This is a full-time volunteer role for a Non-Profit Board Member at NeuroDauntless. The Board Member will provide strategic direction, governance, and oversight to the organization. Responsibilities include attending and participating in board meetings once monthly, contributing to the development of policies and objectives, monitoring and evaluating organizational performance, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Additionally, the Board Member will advocate for the organization's mission and values, assist in fundraising efforts, and engage with community stakeholders. This is a remote role with occasional travel for events, fundraising, and other campaigns.

Responsibilities

Leadership, Governance, and Strategic Planning skills Experience in Fundraising, Community Engagement, and Advocacy Knowledge of Non-Profit Management, Legal Compliance, and Ethical Standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships Experience in the healthcare industry or mental health services is a plus Bachelor's degree in Business, Non-Profit Management, or related field

Skills

Proficiency in Salesforce or Raiser's Edge for managing donor relationships and fundraising activities is preferred. Experience in campus recruitment, training & development, or volunteer management is highly valued. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively. Excellent public speaking skills with the capability to engage diverse audiences. Background in recruiting, management, or social work is beneficial for understanding community needs.
