We are seeking a dedicated Nightshift Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and ensure a smooth and compliant retail experience during evening hours. This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of retail operations within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, and accessories Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment during the shift Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or scheduling appointments Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Supervise or mentor junior staff as needed, fostering a positive team environment

Skills

Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting preferred Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Knowledge of product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Merchandising and stocking expertise to maintain attractive displays Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions Experience in retail sales, grocery store operations, or similar environments is advantageous Basic math skills necessary for cashiering and sales transactions
