Job Summary

The market leader in Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling GLE Scrap Metal, has an immediate opening for production line operators

weekend nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5pm-5am

Responsibilities

Prepare and sort various wires for pre-shred

Identify and remove non-conforming materials that will contaminate the production batch

Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor

Assembling packaging for outbound materials

Following production guidelines and specifications

Finalizing and packing products for shipment

Operating and maintaining computerized machinery and adjusting production line equipment

Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products

Working on the production line and meeting production targets

Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.

Performing other tasks as assigned

Following health and safety standards

Requirements

. Working weekend nights from 5PM to 5AM Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and other physical activities for extended periods of time

Ability to work outdoors with expose to the sun and incremental weather

Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical

Skills

. Operating forklifts and other heavy equipment.

. Mechanically Inclined and able to identify, use hand tools.

Ability to work safely and properly follow all company policies

Ability for sitting, standing, walking, forward bending, climbing, squatting, lifting, kneeling, pulling/ pushing and reaching

Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
