Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves performing front desk duties, managing guest inquiries, and conducting nightly audits of financial & accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Duties

Perform nightly audits of financial and accounting transactions and ensure accuracy in all reports. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing exceptional customer service. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Operate phone systems to assist guests with their needs and provide information about hotel services. Maintain security protocols during night shifts, ensuring the safety of guests and property. Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review. Perform light kitchen duties in the mornings to assist breakfast staff

Skills

Proficient in front desk operations with experience in hotel management preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Familiarity with night audit procedures, financial and accounting reporting. Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage phone systems efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Background in hospitality and accounting would be helpful. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
