Duties

Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a warm and professional experience. Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including handling guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency. Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and financial records. Prepare detailed reports on daily financial transactions, occupancy rates, and any discrepancies or incidents. Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently, providing solutions that enhance guest satisfaction and foster positive guest relations. Monitor security cameras and conduct routine safety inspections of the property to maintain a secure environment. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests or facility issues during your shift. Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality management. Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems, processing payments, and managing guest data securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to ensure a professional appearance at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a significant advantage in communicating effectively with diverse guests. Familiarity with hotel management software, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures is desirable. Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and clear interpersonal interactions. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail. Experience in resort or large hotel environments will be considered an asset. Knowledge of guest services protocols, hotel policies, and safety procedures is essential.
