Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, guest services, and customer relations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, accurate financial reporting, and exceptional guest experiences during the night shift. Candidates with multilingual abilities and previous hotel experience will be highly valued. The Night Auditor will work closely with front desk staff to maintain high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction while managing administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest accounts. Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, providing excellent customer service and addressing guest inquiries promptly. Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing information using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, occupancy, and other key metrics for management review. Ensure the security of the hotel premises during night hours by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols if necessary. Assist guests with special requests, provide information about hotel amenities, and promote guest relations to enhance overall satisfaction. Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with guests and vendors. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight issues or guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or night audit roles within a resort or hotel environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems. Knowledge of hospitality management software and basic accounting principles related to hotel operations. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high attention to detail. Hospitality management background or certifications related to hotel operations are a plus.
