NEW Pharmacy Technician Opening - Cincinnati Ohio
Join a respected healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician I, supporting pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and distributing medications safely and accurately. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative hospital setting.
What You'll Do:
Assist pharmacists with preparing medications, including compounding, labeling, and filling orders
Operate and refill automated dispensing machines
Prepare IV admixtures and sterile products using aseptic technique (if trained)
Deliver medications to hospital units on scheduled runs
Maintain inventory by rotating stock, checking expirations, and re-ordering supplies
Use Epic for medication lookups, labeling, messaging, and documentation
Provide customer service at the pharmacy window and over the phone
Support a safe and organized pharmacy environment
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - must be licensed with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
2+ years of pharmacy technician experience required; hospital experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to handle cash transactions in outpatient pharmacy setting
Schedule Options:
Evening Shifts (Full-Time): Start between 2:30-3:00 pm, ending 11:00-11:30 pm
Rotating Schedule: Primarily daytime hours with occasional evening coverage
