This position is located on-site at our Lowell, MA facility.
You will drive the growth of our friction products and solutions through collaboration, business development and fostering long-term relationships with OEM partners. This role requires an understanding of advanced materials sales, asset utilization, complex qualification timeframes, and long-term contracts around the automotive and power sport equipment markets. Strong business development, broad business knowledge, strategic thinking, technical acumen, exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of driving partnerships that foster innovation and growth are required.
Position Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Director, Sales & Marketing, lead the planning and implementation of strategic business objectives.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform the company's strategic approach.
Establish, understand, and strengthen connections between the customer's business strategy and AvCarb's product and development capabilities to optimize account sales potential.
Utilize comprehensive understanding of our decarbonization solutions, their features, benefits, and technical specifications to effectively communicate value propositions to OEM partners.
Effectively collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies with overall customer objectives.
Build and manage strong relationships with senior executives, engineering, and procurement teams at OEM partners to ensure alignment, collaboration, and effective communication.
Participate in sales forecasting, sales goal setting and strategic planning.
Remain current with industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the market environment.
Ability to travel within North America, Europe and Asia as needed.
