About the Role

TCMG is hiring a

Neurology Medical Director

to lead our growing neuro service line across post-acute and clinic settings. You'll

oversee NPs/PAs

, set high standards of neurologic care, and manage

higher-acuity field patients

(movement disorders, post-stroke, seizure disorders, neurodegenerative disease, TBI, spasticity, etc.). This role blends

clinical leadership, program design, and direct care

to drive outcomes for patients and partners.

What You'll Do

Clinical Leadership & Medical Direction



Serve as

physician of record

for the neurology program; define clinical standards, pathways, and escalation protocols.

Supervise and develop NPs/PAs

: onboarding, case reviews, targeted teaching, monthly QA, and real-time curbside support. Build and maintain

standing orders, delegation agreements, and co-signature rules

aligned with Arizona requirements and payer policies. Lead

case conferences

with APPs and interdisciplinary partners (psych, therapy, primary care teams).

Direct Patient Care (Field & Clinic)



Evaluate and manage

higher-acuity neurology cases

in field and clinic. Perform/protocolize procedures in your scope. Create

diagnostic and medication plans

aligned with facility formularies and payer rules (Medicare, MA, AHCCCS/ALTCS). Provide

timely consults

, handoffs, and clear return-to-clinic/tele-follow-up plans.

Program, Operations & Partnerships



Collaborate with facility leaders (administrators, DONs, therapy directors, case managers) to

optimize care pathways

and resolve escalations. Ensure

regulatory compliance

(state, federal, HIPAA), documentation completeness, and payer-specific requirements. Contribute to

service expansion

(new facilities, IRF/LTACH pathways) and

clinical education

(in-services, provider development).

You Bring



MD/DO, Board-Certified/Eligible in Neurology

(required).

Active AZ license

(or ability to obtain promptly);

DEA & DPS

credentials.

3-5+ years

post-residency neurologic practice;

post-acute experience (SNF/IRF/LTACH/LTC/AL)

strongly preferred. Demonstrated

leadership with APPs

(supervision, education, QA, protocol building). Comfortable managing

complex polypharmacy, spasticity programs, seizure care, Parkinson's and dementia-related behaviors

within interdisciplinary teams.
