Global ScienceTechnology, Inc. (GST) is seeking an experienced

Network Specialist/Technician

to join our team supporting State IT Support Projects in Fairmont, WV.

Position Summary:

Set up and repair of computers and related equipment Ability to work and communicate with customers both on phone and in person Install and configure software Design and set up computer networks Some Travel required throughout West Virginia

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

A.S. or higher degree in Information Systems or related field 1+ year of hands-on experience with computers and networking Demonstrated skill working with entry-level users to resolve problems PC Hardware diagnostics/troubleshooting Printer/Scanner diagnostics/troubleshooting Desktop software troubleshooting Document Management software installation/configuration and troubleshooting Troubleshooting/Diagnostics of PC, printer, scanner, plotter Installation /configuration of new PC, printer, scanner, plotter Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting network switches, firewalls, and routers West Virginia state-wide travel is required. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is also required Ability to communicate effectively with customers

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
