Iowa Solutions is looking to fill a Network Technician and/or Network Engineer position immediately. This position is in our Cedar Rapids location and is full time with salary, benefits, and bonuses. Iowa Solutions, Inc has been a leader in computer network technology solutions since 1999. Our company is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and we have a second location in Des Moines, Iowa and a third location in the Quad Cities. We service over 300 clients in Central and Eastern Iowa. Iowa Solutions provides server installation support, network upgrades and project assistance, computer hardware and software support, cloud hosting, data center management and remote access solutions. Other services include firewall and internet security support, backup/disaster recovery (BDR) services, Exchange hosting, custom application development, and website design.

Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, upgrades, configuration, problem resolution and performance tuning of the Windows operating system

Install and maintain servers, switches, routers, and other network equipment

Day to day management of customer accounts including customer support, technical assistance, and general relationship management

Communicate with clients and management personnel

Onsite troubleshooting

Qualifications:

2+ years of computer technology and network service experience

Certifications (A+, MCSE, Network+ or equivalent)

Desire to expand your knowledge and skills in an energetic and enthusiastic environment

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent work ethic

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Exhibits great organizational skills and displays ability to prioritize tasks

Ability to self-direct and effectively use time management

Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
