The Scientific Computing Core (SCC) manages supercomputing resources and provides high performance computing (HPC) expertise to all centers at the Flatiron Institute, developing tools broadly useful to the scientific community as a whole.
SCC is seeking an intern who is interested in high-performance networking of cluster resources.
Networks provide the underlying fabrics upon which high-performance computing operates, often limiting performance of key tasks like message passing or filesystem access. Architecting, deploying, and maintaining high performance networks requires both care and precision.

Applicable travel assistance to New York City and a supported temporary housing option while in New York City may be available.
