Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the business functions with data mining and reporting needs within Retail Network Audit by developing, analyzing and executing internal reporting solutions as well as other essential business needs. Act in role of liaison between IT and the Network Audit Team to gather any requirements and the development and execution of business use cases to ensure functional audit tools. Assist management with gathering data to ensure team success in meeting all client commitments. Have a working knowledge of the business functions of the Field, Desk and Post Audit teams to ensure all data analytical needs are met. Work with appropriate cross-functional teams to ensure any ad hoc reports and analysis are appropriate and implemented. The ability to balance and prioritize tasks, effectively communicate information and work cross-functionally with business partners in FWA Services, Government Client Audit, Account Management and IT will be critical to the success of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in the development of models and tools and perform data mining and analysis activities utilizing audit tools.
  • Serve as a point of contact for IT in supporting internal audit tools. Assist IT in gathering system requirement. Develop and execute business use case to ensure tools are working effectively and as designed.
  • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to support quality improvement efforts and identify areas of opportunity for increasing efficiency.
  • Participate in new product development initiatives.
  • Document Business Requirements, attend regular meetings and manage formal QA process to ensure successful project execution.
  • Design, test, implement and troubleshoot Teradata data warehouse queries. Support the business needs for new query developments and identify query efficiency opportunities.
  • Assist in conducting desk audits or completing post audit work and additional projects assigned by management
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office; Strong Access and Excel Skills required
  • Data warehouse (Teradata/SQL), Visual Basic and report writing experience strongly preferred
  • Effective communication skills with customers in other business units at all levels
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Project Management/organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve complex issues and provide recommendations for quality improvement efforts
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly identify the business needs, prioritize tasks and execute on meeting critical deliverables
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 72,600 - 121,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
