Job Description


Colony Hardware is implementing a new cloud-based NetSuite ERP system across the company. The NetSuite Helpdesk role is to deliver company-wide business solutions through application configuration/development as well as support activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our internal staff, ensuring the seamless operation of computer systems, software, and hardware.

A Little About Your Day: You will:

  • Work with end users on usability and Help Desk issues.
  • Respond to incoming support requests via various channels (phone, email, ticketing system) in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems by utilizing appropriate troubleshooting techniques, resources, and tools.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams when necessary, while maintaining ownership of the support ticket.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions in accordance with company policies.
  • Document all support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify trends in technical issues and contribute to the creation of knowledge base articles and self-help resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, exhibiting patience, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with end-users.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous learning opportunities to stay current with technology trends and updates.

What Youll Need to Have for success:
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise applications, including at least 2 years of experience with the day-to-day technical management and implementation of the NetSuite Oneworld platform required. NetSuite Certification a Plus.
  • Understanding of order-to-cash functionality and processes.
  • Experience generating saved searches, formulas, standard reports, custom reporting, and forms within NetSuite, as well as dashboards, KPIs and other customizations of the users home page.
  • Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system.
  • Data import and export using CSV, APIs or other methods between NetSuite and 3rd party systems.
  • Strong understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting, supply chain, distribution, and warehouse management.
  • Related experience with 3rd party tools and add-ons like Descartes, and RF-Smart a plus.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue-resolution techniques.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
