Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.



Join Kwik Trip's fast-paced, guest-centric Information Technology Department and gain hands-on experience supporting our Application Development Team. As an IT Application Development Intern, you'll work on real projects under the direction of the Back/Front End Applications Supervisor, contributing to meaningful technology initiatives that impact our business.

What You'll Do:

Harvest and update legacy Dotnet applications Create incident reports from ServiceNow as needed Participate in projects using agile principles Assist with application testing and troubleshooting Collaborate with IT professionals and gain exposure to real-world development environments

What We're Looking For:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Development Knowledge of one or more programming languages: SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C+, or .NET Working knowledge of SQL Understanding of web concepts and terminology Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to multi-task and manage priorities High attention to detail and self-motivation Ability to resolve high-priority issues and learn new technologies quickly Ability to maintain confidential information Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to our La Crosse campus

Work Schedule:

This is a paid internship. Candidates must be willing to work 20+ hours per week Monday through Friday during the school semesters and up to 40 hours per week during school breaks. We offer flexibility with school scheduling.

Note:

Applicants must be currently attending school for Computer Science or Software Development.
