CRM Transportation Services provides reliable and compassionate Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) throughout Maryland. We are seeking professional drivers with strong customer service skills and up-to-date certifications to safely transport ambulatory clients to their medical appointments and daily activities.

Position Overview

The NEMT Driver (Ambulatory Only) is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for clients who do not require wheelchair or stretcher support. You will transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, dialysis, pharmacy visits, and other approved destinations.

Responsibilities

Safely transport ambulatory clients to and from scheduled appointments. Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle at all times. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly. Follow Maryland transportation regulations and company safety protocols. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage sheets, and GPS route records. Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and caregivers. Protect client privacy by following HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. Report incidents or delays promptly to the supervisor or dispatcher.

Requirements

Valid Maryland driver's license with a

clean driving record

For-Hire / PSC License

(or ability to obtain before starting).

At least 1 year of NEMT or professional driving experience

preferred.

Up-to-date mandatory training

, including: Passenger Assistance Training (PAT/PAX) Defensive Driving CPR & First Aid HIPAA ADA & Sensitivity Training Bloodborne Pathogens Training Emergency Procedures Training Ability to safely assist ambulatory clients (no lift assistance). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR review. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Maryland roads, medical facilities, and routes. Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities. Previous NEMT or healthcare transportation experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
