Job Summary:
Operate needle punch machine.Tools and Equipment used:
Needle Punch machine, buggies, sewing machine, accessories, and general office suppliesEssential Functions:
Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards:Sew cloth requiring needlepunch finish together. Be sure all identifying information matches. Set up and operate a needlepunch machine following approved work instructions. Maintain assigned equipment. Clean according to schedule. Monitor fabric and equipment to ensure quality at every step of the needle punch process. Keep appropriate records. Work scheduled overtime. Perform other duties as assigned. Report problems and quality concerns to the Finishing Manager or Finishing Plant Supervisor.
Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. Maintain 5 S standards. * Earplugs, safety shoes, and other as required by SDS.
