Nccer Core Instructor
Job Description
The Delaware Department of Correction(DOC) is expanding the construction training offerings to the inmates at Baylor Women\xe2\x80\x99s Correctional Institution, Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, and James T. Vaughn Correctional Center. DOC will hire a contractual part-time instructor or instructors to provide the delivery of the NCCER Core Craft program at the institutions. The delivery calendar is 6-8 hours per week for a range of 14-18 weeks. The delivery will be done in the evening or possible weekends at a rate of $37 per hour. The instructor must possess a current NCCER Core Craft Instructor Certification. The instructor must have a desire to increase the knowledge and skills of inmates in the course. The instructor must have the desire to reduce the likelihood of recidivism of inmates in the course. The instructor must clear a DOC security clearance and maintain it during the course delivered. Prior NCCER successful instructional delivery is preferred. Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $37.00 per hour Work Location: In person
