Step Ahead ABA is hiring part-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home, community, and school settings. We offer flexible scheduling, ongoing support, and clear opportunities for advancement.

$23/hour regular/billable rate (all client-facing hours). $10/hour training/non-billable rate (less than 5% of work rendered at this rate, mostly for administrative meetings/trainings). What You'll Do

Provide direct ABA therapy to children in their home, school, or community Follow individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs Collect data and document each session accurately Communicate with your supervising BCBA and team regularly Show professionalism and respect in every client and team member interaction

Our leadership team brings over a decade of clinical and operational ABA experience to ensure our RBTs and BCBAs are supported, respected, and set up for success.

What this role requires

Active RBT certification

if you don't have an active RBT certification, you can enroll in our Behavior Technician program that will support you in obtaining your certification.
High school diploma or equivalent Reliable Transportation Punctual, with strong communication skills Comfortable working with children and families in home settings Able to stay active and engaged with clients Prior ABA experience required

Work Environment

Sessions will be held in-home, school, or communication location position. Expectations include, but are not limited to the following:


Respecting the family's home and space Leaving therapy materials on-site as needed Being physically active with clients, including sitting, playing, lifting, or running if required
