Position:

We are seeking passionate NC Pre-K Lead Teachers for our campuses in Concord. You will have the opportunity to be your unique self in the classroom and with our team, truly making a difference. Our NC Pre-K classes are a next step for many families from our home visiting program and 3-year-old classrooms. We build trust and ensure learning at home supports what you do during the day!

Responsibilities:

Develop fun, interactive lesson plans that support learning Mentor assistants Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines Implement all company policies Communicate effectively and directly with parents to support the child's success Participate in staff and training meetings; be a team player Affirm achievements and present new, challenging, developmentally appropriate goals for each child Desire to grow professionally

Requirements:

Lead B-K Licensure or B.A. degree in followingL ECE/Child Development Birth-Kindergarten; Child Care Administration; Child Development; Child and Family Development; Child and Family Studies; Child Psychology; ECE-Special Education; ECE-Teacher Associate; Elementary Education; Human Development and Family Studies; Human Growth and Development; Human Growth and Family Studies; Psychology; School Age Children; Sociology; Special Education 1-3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility Must be at least 18 years of age First Aid/CPR certified Experience planning lessons and activities Ability to resolve conflicts between children Excellent communication and people skills Must pass a criminal background check

Job Type:

Full-time, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Base Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
