The Experience:
The NBX Diesel Technician Internship position is designed to bring additional strength into the Northwest Beef Express Technician Trucking Division. The successful candidate will receive training and exposure, on all technician and shop operations of NBX, while given specific tasks and responsibilities. The right candidate will have the opportunity to participate in project development and analysis and will be evaluated for potential employment opportunities within the company.
Potential Areas of Training and Exploration:
Shop activities and flow of truck services at NBX Basics of service writing and programs used and work orders Basics of preventative maintenance program and truck services Parts and Inventory management of the shop Diesel mechanic diagnosing and repair on trucks, trailers and all NBX equipment Basics of truck and shop safety
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Strong desire to work in the Trucking and/or Feedlot Industry post-graduation. Strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude. Basic mechanical knowledge and interest Valid driver's license * 2.0 GPA or higher
