Job Overview

We are seeking a Natural Herbal Extracts Processor to join our team in cultivating and processing high-quality herbal products. This role involves working to extract, prepare, and package herbal extracts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for a small non-profit with a focus on producing simple herbal products. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growing natural health industry while gaining hands-on experience in the full process of: labelling, bottling, extracting, inventory software, unpacking ingredients, organizing.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain herbs Monitor plant growth and health, utilizing plant identification skills to ensure quality Use basic supplies like strainers, jars, bottles, labels, computer, etc. Assist with shaking herbs and maintaining alphabetical order of inventory Perform lifting of jar and packaging supplies Willing to learn herbal knowledge to optimize your understanding Prepare herbal extracts using appropriate extraction methods under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment Follow safety guidelines

Qualifications

Experience or background in horticulture, gardening, or farming A patient, willing attitude Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and quantities Interested in learning about God's natural herbs for the physical body Attention to detail with a focus on quality control during harvesting and processing Self-motivated with a passion for sustainable agriculture and natural products

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
