We are an industrial equipment provider specialized in end-of-the line packaging equipment; case packing, labelling, case sealing, marking, shrink wrapping, coding, palletizing, etc. in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, logistics, and other industries.
We have an open position to be filled for a professional Field Service Technician to provide technical service support to our national accounts traveling 85% of the time. We are looking for someone with knowledge of industrial environments and familiar with end-of-line manufacturing processes and equipment. The position requires the full ability and desire to travel both nationally and locally. A candidate who has experience in field service, installing, repairing, commissioning, and integrating. Knowledgeable and skilled with different types of mechanical equipment, electrical wiring and schematic, pneumatic cylinders and solenoids, PLC's, software integrations, and conveyors. This position requires a team player, an innovative thinker with a proactive mindset and problem-solving abilities, computer experienced, self-motivated, and looking to advance and grow with the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILS:
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Blueprints and documents could contain small print, symbols, and notations.
Able to drive own vehicle or company service vehicle to customer sites to install, service, repair and/or replace equipment.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written (knowledge of Spanish language is a plus).
Work with the customers schedule, this may vary the weekly worked hours. Able to pick-up and go on short notice.
Provide training for installed or repaired equipment to operation teams.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to fix mechanical and electrical problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Responsible, reliable, trustworthy, and capable of maintain accurate company parts inventory.
Organized and tidy, always keeping work in a clean and orderly manner.
Provide respectful and clear phone support for any customer related issues and troubleshooting.
