The National Account Manager - West is responsible for developing and growing relationships with targeted National Account clients, driving sales through a solutions-focused approach, and delivering exceptional customer experience. This role requires a driven sales professional with a hunter mentality who thrives in building new business while nurturing existing accounts.

The position is remote, ideally based in California, Colorado, New Mexico, or Oklahoma, and reports directly to the VP of Sales - East. Regular travel across the West region is required to meet with clients, attend industry events, support customer plant visits and strengthen account relationships, or as required.



Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the main point of contact for National Account clients on day-to-day program needs. Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through solution-based selling and consistent follow-up. Conduct outbound calls and meetings (virtual and in-person) to qualify, profile, and secure opportunities for sales growth. Research client specifications, construction schedules, and needs to develop compelling value propositions. Present products to design teams, corporate account teams, and outside A&D firms. Partner with internal teams (Customer Experience, Manufacturing, Senior Leadership) to meet account needs and ensure excellent order care. Develop and expand business within existing accounts while identifying new opportunities to maximize revenue. Utilize Salesforce daily for sales reporting, pipeline management, and tracking client interactions. Collaborate with marketing to develop engagement strategies and sales tools for targeted accounts. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success. Excellent listening, problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to connect with clients at all levels. Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the West region to meet with clients and support business growth. Highly collaborative team player with a client-first mindset. Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Outgoing, professional, and customer service oriented. Strong ability to negotiate terms, close deals, and handle objections Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration Must be able to walk and sit for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20lbs safely Other duties as assigned.
