The Opportunity
Global Fleet Solutions is looking for a driven
National Accounts Manager
to join our team in
Dallas, Texas
. The National Accounts Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth of our National Accounts division. This includes targeting, developing, and closing a robust pipeline by leveraging both internal lead sources and direct prospecting in high-potential markets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the National Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute a focused weekly plan aligned to quarterly and annual sales objectives
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with prospective National Accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and manufacturer partners
Proactively identify and execute on opportunities to expand GFS services with existing accounts
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and pricing packages
Lead deal negotiations, contract discussions, and coordination of operational integration
Regularly review and advance all open opportunities through the sales funnel
Conduct market and industry research to identify strategic prospects and trends
Collaborate with dealership sales teams to share knowledge and uncover new opportunities
Attend internal and manufacturer meetings, contributing updates and insights to cross-functional teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
Post-secondary degree in business administration, sales or a related field
At least five years of prior sales experience in the material handling equipment industry
At least five years of prior experience in B2B sales
Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with individuals at all levels of the organization
Professionalism and excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively independently and achieve sales targets
Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex deals
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to travel within North America; valid passport required

The compensation range for this role is: $70,000 to $75,000 USD annually plus uncapped commission. Estimated total annual earning approximately $200,000+.
