Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail treatments, while delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a vibrant salon environment, utilizing your expertise in color theory, sanitation, and esthetic techniques to enhance clients' beauty and confidence.

Duties

Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art. Apply advanced techniques including eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and hair extensions when applicable. Conduct esthetic laser treatments and dermabrasion procedures as part of comprehensive beauty services. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools and work areas to ensure client safety. Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail designs and treatments based on client preferences. Upsell additional services such as retail products or complementary treatments to enhance client satisfaction. Assist clients with retail sales of beauty products related to nail care and skincare. Stay updated on current trends in nail art, color theory, and beauty treatments to offer innovative services. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

Valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician license required. Proven experience in nail care services including gel nails, acrylics, and nail art. Knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and advanced esthetic treatments such as laser therapy and dermabrasion. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math is preferred. Additional skills such as hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, barbering, or esthetic laser treatment are a plus. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to foster client loyalty. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
