Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Music & Movement instructor to lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for Kindergarten and 1st-grade students. The instructor will inspire children to be active while exploring music in a fun, supportive environment that fosters collaboration, coordination, and confidence.
Responsibilities
Plan and lead interactive music and movement sessions for young learners. Incorporate active movement, dancing, and games to encourage participation. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports each child's development. Maintain a safe and organized class space. Communicate effectively with school staff as needed.
Skills
Experience working with children (preferably ages 5-7) in a group setting. Background in fitness, music, dance, theater, or early childhood education. Demonstrated classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Ability to provide behavior management strategies that support childhood development. Creative and energetic personality with a passion for inspiring kids through music and movement.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
