The role you'll contribute:

Responsible for providing quality patient care within two or more medical imaging departments. This position performs high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. This team member follows standards of safe radiation practice and acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Performs imaging procedures, providing safety for self, patients and all other individuals. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs. Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

High School Grad or Equiv 1 years of work experience Registered Technologist, Radiology One of the following advanced certifications: ARRT(MR); ARDMS RDCS RVT; ARDMS RCS RVT; ARDMS RDMS RVT; ARRT Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
