Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY



Create high-impact visual assets, studio-produced video features, podcast content, and digital collateral that elevate the Forsyth County Schools brand across all platforms. Operate and manage the district studio space, including cameras, lighting, audio, podcasting equipment, and editing workflows, to produce polished and engaging multimedia content. Translate strategic messaging into audiencecentered creative pieces that support district priorities. Track key performance metrics to measure impact and ensure alignment with the district strategic plan.

QUALIFICATIONS



Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

Associates degree or higher preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience. Demonstrated experience in multimedia production, graphic design, podcasting, or video content development preferred. Proficiency with digital design and editing platforms. Ability to conceptualize, storyboard, film, edit, and produce multimedia content. Strong visual communication, storytelling, and copy editing skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Experience with camera, lighting, and audio equipment required. Experience producing podcasts or long form audio preferred. Experience with industry standard production platforms required. Knowledge of accessibility best practices for multimedia content preferred. Proven ability to work with others in a confidential, cooperative, and service-oriented manner; excellent listening and communication skills. Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. Ability to be present at the physical worksite. May be regularly required to stand, sit, crouch, crawl, push/pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



Plan, film, edit, and produce studio based video features and campaigns. Develop and produce district podcast products, including recording, editing, and publishing. Manage studio operations, scheduling, and equipment care. Operate professional lighting, camera, audio, and podcast systems. Capture photos and video footage at assigned district and school events. Create graphics and digital collateral that support district initiatives and campaigns. Collaborate with departments and schools to develop creative concepts and content plans. Ensure multimedia products meet ADA and Section 508 accessibility expectations. Apply district brand standards across all visual and digital content. Track performance metrics to measure reach, engagement, and alignment with district priorities. Perform other duties as assigned.
