JOB SUMMARY
A Multilingual Learners Teacher delivers rigorous, differentiated and joyful instruction that leads scholars to academic achievement. An MLL Teacher's responsibilities include, but are not limited to providing student interventions and modifications to the academic program as needed; developing related goals, objectives and recommending evidence based practices to support multilingual scholars; planning, implementing and working with staff to evaluate the MLL programs and services. MLL Teachers manage scholar behaviors effectively, establish and interpret lesson plans, and guide a classroom learning environment that supports the individual development of our diverse scholars. MLL Teachers must support curriculum practices that align with the school's culture of connections, management and response, while also meeting state and national academic standards. MLL Teachers must promote an atmosphere of safety which ensures mutual respect between scholars, families and staff members. They support curriculum practices that align with ODB's culture of connections, management and response, while also meeting state and national academic standards. Multilingual Learners Teachers promote an atmosphere of safety which ensures mutual respect between scholars, families and staff members. ODB Substitute Teachers also support in the recording and reporting of each scholar's progress to their family and the school's administration along with being able to manage personal and common planning, data meetings, and professional development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
General qualifications of a teacher as prescribed by the Colorado State Department of Education
Valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License (MLL Endorsement preferred)
Bachelor's degree (in English, Linguistic and/or Cultural Studies preferred)
Ability to provide conferred transcripts
Minimum of two (2) year of teaching experience preferred
Provision of personal and professional references
Background check clearance
Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
