Job Description

One of my best clients is looking to add a multifamily superintendent to their top-notch team. The role will mainly comprise of direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force including assistants, foremen, subcontractors and other construction related personnel on multifamily project sites.

• Lead site team from construction start through project closing.
• Ensure contract scope is understood by the entire site management team.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to beginning each phase of work.
• Create and maintain a baseline production schedule for the project.
• Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor.
• Administer a Quality Control Plan.
• Review and approve all invoices and requisitions to ensure correct payment to vendor.
• Ensure the work environment is safe.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned personnel and maintain a positive working environment for the entire site team.

• 10+ years as a construction superintendent within a general contractor.
• Multifamily experience preferred, open to other large projects if coming from a respected contractor.
• Comfortable leading projects and managing a large team.
• Strong oral communication and written skills.
• OSHA certification preferred

Their projects generally are larger builds exceeding $15M+ in scope. The company\'s Wisconsin headquarters in in Madison and they do work mainly in the Madison market while also working on some project in the southeastern Wisconsin area. They offer a complete range of construction services to complete complex multifamily projects with the high regard for quality.

• A competitive base salary between $115,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience)
