Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012. Conveniently located off I-675 in Beavercreek. Provides a variety of health care services and is home to 4 accredited Centers of Excellence including hernia and robotic surgery. In 2020, Soin received an "A" from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. Received 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association. Responsibilities & Requirements:
Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum EducationGraduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program


Minimum Work ExperienceOne year of MRI experience preferred.

Required LicensesOther

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred)ORARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire dateCurrent BLS Required

Required SkillsProficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety Emergency response Attention to detail Critical thinking and problem-solving Time management Empathy and patient care The ability to work independently and work well with team members. Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams


Essential Functions
Perform MRI Examinations Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort Administration of Contrast Media Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team Document and Manage Patient Information Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:

Shift is Tuesday and Thursday 11a-5p at Troy Medical Center, Friday and Saturday 7a-730p at Soin Medical Center
holiday and call rotation as needed at Soin Medical Center
