Responsibilities

Assist customers with loading and unloading boxes, furniture, and heavy items using proper lifting techniques. Safely operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts when necessary. Load and unload trucks or containers accurately while maintaining organization of items. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient route driving and timely delivery or pickup of belongings. Help with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit. Maintain a clean and safe workspace during the moving process, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the move.

Skills

Proven experience in customer service or moving assistance roles. Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is a plus. Valid commercial driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Delivery driver experience, especially involving route driving and load & unload tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during moves. Strong knowledge of moving procedures, including packing techniques and load securing methods.
