In this energetic role, you'll handle the packing, loading, and unloading of household and commercial items with precision and care. Responsibilities

Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks. Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, including wrapping fragile items and organizing boxes efficiently. Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture when necessary to facilitate smooth transport. Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual or automatic transmission to deliver items to designated locations, adhering to route schedules. Ensure all items are properly loaded onto trucks or storage areas, verifying inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized workspace during packing and loading processes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their move process and addressing any concerns professionally. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent injuries or accidents during moving activities. Support team members in completing daily tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience

Previous experience in warehouse work, moving services, or delivery driving is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks is a plus. Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission enhances your candidacy. Proven ability in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for moving operations. Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or courier experience is advantageous. Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations related to transportation roles is beneficial.
