Duties

Safely load, unload, pack, and unpack items using appropriate techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and manual lifting methods Prepare furniture and belongings for transport by wrapping, padding, and securing items to prevent damage during transit Assist with route driving when necessary, including commercial driving of box trucks or courier vehicles with manual transmissions Maintain organization of moving supplies and packing materials to ensure efficiency during operations Collaborate with team members to execute timely load & unload tasks at various locations, ensuring customer satisfaction Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment when required to facilitate heavy lifting or moving large items Follow safety protocols diligently during all moving activities to prevent injuries and accidents

Skills

Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations is highly desirable Experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle; valid driver's license required Knowledge of driving techniques for route driving and delivery routes, including courier or driver roles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper ergonomics Skilled in using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks for efficient loading/unloading Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail during packing, loading, and documentation processes

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
