Responsibilities

Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as HandTrucks or ShoulderStraps when necessary. Assist customers with moving belongings into or out of residences or commercial spaces, providing friendly and professional service. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries and pickups, ensuring all items are secure during transit. Maintain vehicle safety by conducting regular inspections, reporting issues promptly, and adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate moves efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.

Skills

Proven experience in delivery driving or moving services, with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of warehouse operations including load & unload procedures. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and moving bulky items safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for drivers only); commercial driver's license (CDL) not required.
