We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mover/Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of items during moves, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, heavy lifting, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Duties
Assist with loading and unloading items from trucks and other vehicles.
Safely transport items to designated locations while ensuring their protection during transit.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, including moving large furniture and boxes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations on moving days.
Experience
Previous experience in a moving environment is preferred.
Experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with clients effectively.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
