Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with their moving needs, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of belongings, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks, and handling heavy lifting tasks. Responsibilities

Load and unload household or commercial items safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts. Assist clients with packing, organizing, and moving belongings to designated locations. Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Drive route-specific deliveries or moves while maintaining timely schedules. Use customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns professionally. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and work area at all times. Handle heavy lifting and physical tasks involved in moving furniture, appliances, or equipment. Follow safety protocols related to warehouse operations, loading procedures, and driving regulations.

Experience

Prior experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred. Commercial driving experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles, is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience involving route driving is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting professionally with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver or courier experience is beneficial. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety procedures, and excellent communication skills to ensure a smooth moving process for our clients.
Pay: $23.49 - $28.29 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
