Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of furniture and other items for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and experience with various moving equipment. Responsibilities

Safely load and unload furniture, appliances, and other household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks Assist customers with moving items in a courteous and professional manner Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles to transport items between locations, adhering to route schedules and safety regulations Use manual transmission vehicles when required, ensuring safe operation at all times Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the items being moved Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during moves Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly (up to 50 pounds or more) Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to work physically demanding shifts that may include manual labor and long periods of standing or walking Knowledge of route driving and courier services is advantageous Reliable transportation to job sites; familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred
