Move In Coordinator
and manage the entire transition process for new residents.

The Opportunity
The
Move In Coordinator
is the primary point of contact for new residents moving into The Gatesworth. This
full-time
role is a critical blend of project management, logistics coordination, and superior customer service.
This high-impact role requires flexible availability to meet resident needs and involves a dynamic work environment split between time in the office for planning and coordination and time in residents' homes to conduct assessments and oversee move execution.
Manage all phases of the move-in process, from initial consultation to post-move follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience.
Logistics Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate move dates with residents, families, and moving vendors; obtain cost estimates, and prepare detailed move-in sheets.
Design & Space Planning:
Meet with residents in their homes to discuss downsizing resources,
measure furniture and spaces accurately
, and create scaled floor plans with proposed apartment layouts.
On-Site Oversight:
Be present at the resident's home and The Gatesworth on moving day to supervise the moving team, ensure proper unpacking and placement per the plan, and coordinate follow-up maintenance.
Documentation:
Collect and finalize all required resident paperwork prior to move-in.
Community Support:
Manage and maintain community display units and furniture inventory for marketing and tours.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required;
College Degree is strongly preferred.
Transportation Requirement:
Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license are mandatory
to travel to residents' homes to conduct assessments and coordinate move logistics.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must be comfortable using interior design software and measuring tools to facilitate space planning.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to
lift or push up to 25 lbs.
and be able to
greet, assist residents, and provide tours
as needed.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled to meet job responsibilities.
Communication:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
