Angel Fire Resort is now hiring for Mountain Hosts to join our guest services team this winter season. Mountain Hosts are responsible for assisting guests on the deck and monitoring deck traffic, aiding skiers on the mountain in a variety of ways, and being a friendly resource for all of our guest's needs. The ideal applicant will have excellent customer service skills, will work as a team with all mountain departments, and will be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment. This position works outside in varying winter conditions.

Qualifications:
No experience necessary, all training will be provided.
(other duties may be assigned) Maintains a cheerful and positive attitude, treating guests (both internal and external) with respect and care; projects a professional attitude using active listening skills.
Strives to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Aids guests who need non-medical assistance getting to the bottom of the mountain.
Assists guest with issues and facilitates resolutions.
Assists with special events as needed.
Greets guests as they arrive at the base area and throughout the day.
Assists Marketing with surveys.
Encourages customers to fill out comment cards.
Provides information such as grooming reports, snow reports, weather forecast, etc to guests.
Answers questions and provides information to guests regarding all the resort services, activities, amenities, etc.
Facilitates the "First Tracks" program as assigned and follows all requirements, including tight communication with ski patrol and effective tour guide procedures.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in winter weather conditions for extended periods of time.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to ski/snowboard at an Intermediate or above level. Must be able to ski all of the terrain within the assigned are and must be able to ski in control in all snow conditions.
Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
