Job Description
The Forest Lake Motel (ForestLakeMotel.com) is located right on Highway 2 which is a popular route for traveling through the area. The backside of our property faces the peaceful Forest Lake scenery and all the wildlife it attracts. Our clientele is typically contract laborers, recreationists, and traveling folks.
We have over 30 rooms used for nightly, weekly and monthly rentals. Some seasons are busier than others, so hours may vary depending on how full the motel is. Must be willing to work weekends.
We are looking for a housekeeper who is trustworthy, has integrity, is a meticulous cleaner, and who takes pride in their work. Someone with a servant\'s heart who is respectful when they\'re interacting with staff and guests.
Our goal is to always continue to improve the quality of service that we provide.
Duties:
- Housekeeping responsibilities include changing bedding, scrubbing bathrooms, disinfecting surfaces, vacuuming, taking out the trash, doing laundry, professionally folding linens and guests clothing, keeping the housekeeping cart and stock room organized and functional.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and push a heavy housekeeping cart outdoors in all weather elements.
There are multiple apartment rentals that we manage off-site that will need occasional or regular cleaning, so reliable transportation is a must. Proof of valid driver\'s license and vehicle insurance required.
