We're looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor with experience in the lender model to join our top-producing team. Responsibilities: o Serve as a liaison between loan officers applicants, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval o Make sure closing dates and company deadlines are met by following up on loan documentation in a timely manner o Obtain all necessary property and loan documentation for every file, including evidence of insurance, verification of employment, payoffs, credit supplements, tax transcripts, condo questionnaires, title work, and subordination requests and to make sure the loan process goes smoothly o Keep thorough documentation of the loan process in the system, from the origination of the loan to close o Communicate with the borrower throughout the loan process o Serving as the key liaison between applicants, real estate agents, loan officers, and underwriters o Managing a loan pipeline with speed, compliance, and precision o Obtaining and verifying all required property and borrower documentation -- including insurance, payoffs, employment, tax transcripts, title, condo questionnaires, and more o Keeping all loan documentation updated in the system for full transparency o Handling all borrower communication from contract through closing o Proactively resolving issues and anticipating potential roadblocks o Helping move loans across the finish line with a focus on service and excellence Qualifications: o At least 2 years mortgage processing experience, preferably 5+ years o Superb communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills o Familiar with working in a lender's environment and using Encompass LOS software o Experience as a Loan Partner, Loan Officer, Processor, LOA,and/or Underwriter o Can correctly analyze and interpret income, and asset documents, credit reports, and the variety of ways to structure a loan o Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience (5+ preferred) o Familiarity with the lender model o Deep knowledge of loan structure, credit reports, income/assets, and underwriting guidelines o Experience in roles such as Loan Processor, Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, or Underwriter o Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines o Exceptional time management, organization, and customer service skills o Detail-oriented with a calm, professional demeanor even under pressure About Company: Our mission is to serve with honesty, integrity, and competence, and we live that every day.
