Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated

Mortgage Loan Officer

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys face-to-face client interaction, and is passionate about helping buyers achieve homeownership. You'll work closely with builders, clients, and teammates to originate and close loans efficiently and strategically.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective buyers in builder model homes, take applications in person, and guide them through the qualification process. Collaborate with referral partners (realtors and builders) to convert leads into contracts. Strategize and problem-solve to overcome loan challenges at the pre-qualification stage. Communicate effectively with clients, referral partners, and internal team members. Maintain a strong sense of urgency and ownership throughout the loan process.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan origination experience preferred, but as little as 2 years is okay with the right attitude. Strong understanding of Conventional, FHA, and VA loan programs. Comfortable working in-person with prospective buyers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Experience with Encompass is highly preferred. Ability to start immediately is a plus.
