Responsibilities: o Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc. o Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service o Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork o Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items o Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator o Assess and pre-qualify loan applicants by evaluating their financial information, credit history, and documentation. o Guide clients through the loan process, from application to closing, ensuring clear communication and a smooth experience. o Recommend suitable loan products based on the client's needs and financial profile. o Ensure compliance with all lending regulations, policies, and documentation standards. o Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources to generate new business. Qualifications: o Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment o MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred o Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients o High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred o Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred o Active NMLS License (required) o Proven track record of successful loan closings o Strong communication and relationship-building skills o Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment About Company: Why Join EmpowerHome?
