We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing various production equipment and processes. Duties



Operate and maintain machinery including plastics blow molding machines, plastics extrusion lines, injection molding presses, CNC lathes, CNC machines, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Conduct routine inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure products meet specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment utilizing hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform repairs swiftly and effectively. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including materials handling and storage of raw materials and finished goods. Perform setup, calibration, and adjustments on machinery to optimize production efficiency while adhering to safety standards. Assist in assembly processes by following detailed work instructions and using appropriate tools. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction. Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately in logs or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Participate in quality inspection procedures to verify product conformity throughout the manufacturing process. Operate forklifts safely for loading/unloading materials within the warehouse or production areas. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules while maintaining a safe work environment.

Experience



Proven experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in an industrial setting is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with plastics blow molding, plastics extrusion, plastics injection molding, or related manufacturing processes is preferred. Familiarity with machining operations including CNC lathe work and press brake machine operation is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Previous warehouse experience involving materials handling and forklift operation is a plus. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction within production environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements, adjustments, and quality assessments.
