Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible MAV Driver to join our team. As an MAV Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and timely transportation for clients to and from medical facilities, outpatient appointments, and other essential locations. You'll assist passengers who require a high level of care and attention, while upholding our company's reputation for professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
Safe Transportation
: Operate a Medical Assistance Vehicle to transport patients safely and efficiently to various medical appointments and facilities.
Assistance with Mobility
: Provide physical assistance to passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, using specialized equipment such as wheelchairs, lifts, or stretchers as needed.
Customer Service
: Ensure each passenger is treated with respect, empathy, and compassion. Address any questions or concerns with a calm and professional demeanor.
Timeliness
: Maintain an efficient schedule to ensure passengers arrive on time for appointments while adhering to safe driving practices.
Vehicle Maintenance
: Conduct routine checks on the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it meets safety and operational standards. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
Driver's License
: Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
Certifications
: Current CPR and First Aid certification,
OR
willingness to obtain upon hiring.
Physical Requirements
: Ability to assist clients with limited mobility, including lifting or maneuvering passengers in wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
Communication Skills
: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and medical staff.
